Sanctions for Academic Integrity Violations

Sanctioning for academic integrity violations follows a standard, progressive model with more serious sanctions assigned as a result of repeated violations and findings of responsibility. The Board of Control will make a recommendation to the Undergraduate Dean, who makes the final decision in determining sanctions. Occasionally, there may be cases where the appropriate sanction may deviate from the standard recommendation due to the severity of the incident or compelling mitigating circumstances.
