CRC Membership
CRC Co-Chairs
The Conduct Review Committee is co-chaired by the Director of Conduct and Community Standards and an undergraduate student elected during the spring term ASCIT elections. The co-chairs meet regularly to review incidents, hold investigation meetings, and preside over CRC hearings.
CRC Committee Members
The full Conduct Review Committee consists of student representatives, staff, and faculty. In cases that proceed to a CRC Hearing, the board considering the case consists of one student, one staff, and one faculty representative. The CRC board assembled for each case will review the evidence, make a determination of responsibility based on the preponderance of the evidence, and make recommendations to the decision-maker regarding responsibility and sanctions.
Student representatives are elected by House during the winter term. CRC student representatives serve as a resource for members of each House to support students' understanding of conduct processes and policies. CRC reps may also serve as advisors for students who are respondents in a CRC investigation. Additionally, the CRC student representatives make recommendations for sanctions in uncontested cases and serve on CRC hearings.

Senior staff members in the division of student affairs serve as members of the CRC.
On occasion, one of the Associate Deans for Undergraduate Students may serve as a co-chair for investigations and hearings in place of the Director of Conduct and Community Standards.

In the Conduct Review Committee process, the Dean of Undergraduate Studies makes the final decision in determining responsibility for policy violations and sanctions for cases involving individual students as respondents. The Assistant Vice President of Student Affairs serves as the decision-maker in cases involving houses or student organizations as respondents.
